The art community describes Beate Thiesmeyer’s sculptures as narrative art. They tell stories. If we accept the hypothesis of a shared human pictorial language, they create a communicative conduit to the viewer. Her sculptures draw from a deep well of references, reflecting and – at the same time - commenting.
